Opinion on pricing
I agree... I have lost more cars that I was passionately interested in because I was adamant about either waiting for my mechanic to look at it, or because I was chasing a deal...
Driving a good deal is effective if you don't care whether you get the car or not, or if the dealership has a large inventory in their parking lot.
As Chuck S said, I too have lost cars that I was ready to move on, and had them sell before I could consummate the deal. If you want it, can afford it, and it is not too egregious a price, I would not let a few hundred or even a thousand dollars keep you from the car that you want.
I was lucky to find an owner that went out of his way to meet me at my mechanic to have his car checked out... That gave me the most confidence in buying the car... Even if it wasn't a screaming deal.
Good luck and Godspeed!

Went to go take a look at it yesterday and didn't really like the vibe from the dealer. Plus the body showed some good wear and I wanted something with lower mileage. The front grill was pretty much hanging off and it had some dings, dents, and scratches. Love the red and black interior though.
Thanks iamxpL, it was at an Acura dealer, Bridgewater Acura.
I since have found a clean silver / black interior 04 with 25,xxx in CT. They are asking 22k for it. Taking the 2.5 hour drive this Saturday to go see it and possibly come home with it

my dealership has one on his lot, i believe over 100k, asking $16,999 as is.. when i first saw it, i sort of was told it wasn't hot-rodded... and of course i will believe that, except, well, why does it have 225's on the fronts.. and look almost exactly like Kenny the Dentist's... hmmmmmmm
The car is in amazing condition. The previous owner def took care of it.
