Picked up an 08 last week! Suggestions on first mods?
Hi s2ki!
Not sure if this is the right section to post... but I picked up an '08 last week and am loving it (after such a long time of looking
)! Such a beautiful machine.
My question is that do any of you experienced members have any useful / important mods or anything else in general that I can do to the car? There is so much information all over the forum that I am overwhelmed lol. Please feel free to help me out and give me some tips on making sure I can get the most out of my new baby
(mods move to the right section if you need too)
Thanks!

Internally you should change the radio out with a modern one, if you care about listening to music.
I like the stock wheels on this model, so personally I kept those.
Possibly seat locks to prevent stolen seats, and some wheel locks.
Check the condition of the convertible top all over, in case there is any minor/major damage it can be replaced under warranty.

Driver mod is one of the most important mods, if you have never done so, enroll in some auto crosses and learn the limits of the car in a safe environment. That said, it all depends on what you plan to do with the car, test pipe or High flow CAT is your best bang for the buck. Decide what your main goal with the car is, show, drag, street, track, then you can see what mods you want to do first and what your budget is. I initially went I/H/E and realized I wanted more power. Finally went supercharger and had to get rid of everything I had bought before because it wasn't optimal for my set up. Take your time and save up for what you really want, don't settle for anything less. Congrats
