there aren't any pics of the interior from that link and I'm wondering if the red/black seats are OEM or not?

Price could be a bit lower, especially for a private sale. You can not tell the quality of a car by an ad. I live in Socal too and I went out to test drive over 20 S2000s. It did not matter if the car was low mileage or high mileage, many cars were abused. There is a thread here https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/775...-a-used-s2000/ for things to look for.

Yes, honda did use red and black for a color scheme.

Hot looking car! The interior is where you will have the most wear and tear. If the color combo is OEM the seats will be red and the door inserts will be red. The carpeting will also be red except for the driver and passenger mats. The stock mats were black (2000-2001) unless replaced by Honda accessory red mats.

On test drive look for grinding when shifting gears, clutch buzz on deceleration, cloudy rear window plastic, seat bolsters worn out... Do a search on this site.
Good luck!
