Find another dealer or look for private sale.

Low miles just to make me more comfortable about the previous owner. That and I don't drive that often (won't be racking a lot of miles), so I was looking at it as an investment as well.

The problem is this dealer has bought almost every S in the area. The ones they haven't are well above 60k, which I'm not interested in. I'd like to go low miles, preferably under 30k. I used a few search tools and searched the entire country. There aren't many left under 15k miles. And the ones that are, are all price above $25. If they're going for this much now... what will they be worth in a few years time?

there is a CR in blue for 29 with about 20k miles, other members on the forums even said they would go check it out for potential buyers if you want them too. https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/107...-196xxx-miles/ . Just something to consider CR with 10k more miles then an 05 with 3k for same price just seems like a better deal overall and from a collectors standpoint CR will be a "collection piece" befor the 05

Hmm Nice! I think I'm going to get away from this dealer. They wont even put a new set of tires on it (wtf!). I don't think the CR is right for me. I'm not a huge fan of the Aero parts, and not having a soft top is not really up my ally. I also don't have any room to store a hard top anyway (no garage). This would be my DD, so a regular S would probably be my route.

Found another dealership with an 07 (lot of people are saying go 06+) with 15k on the clock for $26.9 AND they're actually willing to work with me! Gonna go check it out today. They asked what time I'd be in so they could "have it warmed up since it's so cold out"... so I didn't tell them I'd be coming today (not sure if they're trying to cover something up). I definitely want to cold start it.

for a daily ap2 is probably the best choice, i wouldn't get too caught up in what model you want ap1 or ap2 they are both a blast to drive, just get the car that is the color you want and mileage you'd like and you'll be happy. GL with your search and i hope to see some pictures soon of a purchase.

Probably just a figure of speech. Looks like a better buy then the previous ones you've listed. It's still about 2k above NADA retail but if you're putting a premium on finding a low milage S, that's not a bad buy. See if you can work em down to $25k.

UD.
