Potential Owner here!
Hello everyone,
I've been crusin around these boards for some time now, I finally decided I should get involved if I plan on getting an S. I'm a member of Superhonda, Honda-Tech, ClubSI, and EM1Crew.com.... I currently have a EBP Civic SI upgraded from a CRX.
My plan is to pay off as much of the Civic as I can, get my 401k going good, and hopefully get into an S next year after I turn 25.
I know that I want an S, but heres my only question: I don't have a garage and I live in Northern VA. I don't drive to work, so my current car sits in the parking lot all day. Now, i'm terrified of car theft... but somehow I think I would feel safer owning an S as opposed to a Civic SI.
Does anyonekeep their S on the street/in a parking lot? Is this car something I should worry about all day and night long? I'm thinking I need to hold off for a few years until I have a garage, but I need some feedback!!

Welcome aboard!! Good luck with your search for an S2000. To answer your question - Its really up to you about leaving the car outside. If you live in a good area I wouldn't worry about it too much. But on the other hand I'm terrified of car theft too. I can't stand to leave my car outside over night, and I live in a decent area.
Mine is parked in a garage box overnight.
At work its safe (closed parking lot).
Anywhere else it is parked on the street, or garages if possible.
Look back once then walk away
Don't let a car stop you going into town.
Good luck with your search.
