Proud new owner of first S
Man it took a long time to find this car. I knew I wanted an 06 or later due to drive by wire, VSA, larger throttle body, and new style injectors. And the biggest reason is my favorite OEM wheel is the AP2 v2 rim. Unfortunately, now my procrastination with waiting for the "right" car has created a problem for me. I bought such a pristine low milage example (18500 Miles-8 years old, all vin tags, original tires, all white factory torque marks intact) now I feel like I should just replace the curbed oem rims with the rapidly approaching and much needed tire change with OEM correct rubber. Then source the JDM honda filters, and just change all the fluids and call it a day. Knowing there are so few low milage unmolested cars I feel like I should preserve it.
The problem is I live in SoCal with short diving distance to Evasive/Ballade/GoTuning and I planned to build an over the top 9.5 inch non-staggered downforce front fender/rolled rear fender (not pulled), eibach coil overs with camber, toe, bump steer, bushings and aluminum collars. BBK with brake ducts. Ball bearing adjustable sway bars. Baffled pan,oil catch, oil cooler. New differential. Forged rim with r compound .
Darn what's the wife gonna say when I start my new search for a track car?
Anybody know of a suitable track car for sale?
