Body Panels Fitment
In shopping for an S2000, on some of the FS threads I've seen mention of what I interpret as body panels having some sort of identification on them that confirms that they're original to the car. My questions-
What are they?
Where are they?
If a fender has been replaced, how can I confirm that it's OEM (or is there no such thing as an aftermarket replacement fender for the S2000)? And if it doesn't fit like the car original fender did, is getting correct fitment a matter of carefully taking your time adjusting it (assuming that nothing that the fender bolts up to was displaced in an accident)?
Thanks, guys.

Here are the locations of the VIN stickers.

VIN stickers don't necessarily mean it hasn't been damaged/repainted. But missing VIN numbers is a sure sign that it has had work done.
Panel fitment should be perfect from the factory. If they're not aligned right you would need to have a good body shop determine how much it would cost to fix. The hood and trunk are a lot easier to adjust than a door that doesn't fit due to frame damage etc.
