Default Question from a prospective AP1 owner

Hello all, first of all... Long time honda owner. I have wanted an AP1 since the day I say it at the Auto Show in 99'... recent divorce has prompted me to acquire one sooner than later. Hopefully this coming Saturday, actually!

My question for any/every one... Does an AP1 have the ability to disarm passenger airbag or will i have to remove it all together. I have an 8 year old daughter who shares my enthusiasm for this car and, as anyone with kids knows, the airbag is not an option.

TIA, I look forward to being an owner/member!!

Welcome, there is not a manufacturer switch in the cockpit, but perhaps one of the more knowledgeable owners know of a bypass.

Good luck

Yeah AP1's dont have the switch for the passenger airbag. You would most likely have to remove the whole assembly on the passenger side. There might be another way around it, but not that I can think of. Good luck!

Make sure to remember to disconnect battery when working with airbag! Just a friendly reminder.
