Default Rescued an S2000 and fell in love it

My parents had this 2003 S2000 rotting away in their driveway for 5-6 years with the motor apart. One of the valves tightened up and finally ate up the head at 74,000 on the odometer. They took it to a Honda dealer that tore the motor down then admitted that they didn't have anyone who could rebuild it. After many years of my parents refusing to let go of the dead S2K taking up space in their driveway, they finally relented and let me buy it.

I had a salvage head rebuilt and installed and replaced the TCT as well as the chain. I replaced the bad soft top with an RSG hard top, installed Stoptech rotors and pads and BC Racing ER-Series coilovers, added an exhaust, and replaced most of the engine sensors. DeftMotion acquired the WedsSport SA-72R wheels for me to replace the horribly curb-scarred OEMs.

I recently retired from motorcycle racing and my plans are to make this my new track toy. It still needs a lot of work, but it's very close to ready! It's currently at my painter to have the dents pulled and body damage re-painted.

I can't wait to get this out to the track!

So... you retired from motorcycle racing just to get back into a motorcycle with 2 seats?

It was a forced retirement for medical reasons. I have reached my limit for head injuries and this seems to be a "lower risk".
