Hi everyone

I have one of the first Honda S2000s. I was number one on the Gunn Honda waiting list. I got the third car delivered to Gunn. The first was retained by the owner, the second was triple black, which I didn't want. We got the third car, silver with a red and black interior. We drive the car often and it has about 68k miles.

San Antonio a great city and I really enjoyed my last visit there. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that everywhere you wanted to be was a 30-45 minute commute. I'm not used to the hustle and bustle being from Iowa.

Welcome! You've had your car for 18 years, why did you stop by just now?

I've just enjoyed owning and driving the car. What few repairs it has needed, I have done myself. I put a new top on it and I just replace both of the door lock solenoids. I talked to a friend of mine recently and he said that there was a lot of good info on this forum, so here I am.

That's awesome. Better late than never as they say. Nice to see the overall knowledge level rise with your joining, as opposed to when I first signed up here, lol.

My wife (a mortgage broker) has a client that is a long time car collector who it seems has a pretty impressive collection. At one point they got to talking a little bit about his cars. While my wife likes riding around in the S with the top down she isn't exactly into cars. So I'm not sure if she brought up S2000s first or if he did, but after he found out that we had a S2000 he mentioned to her that he had one of the very earliest S2000s sold here in the States which he later ended up selling (and he regrets doing so). Glad to hear that you've hung on to your S2K after all these years. Welcome.
