I'll probably end up getting high 14s myself hehehe. I'm just generally horrible at launching. I haven't tried on the S yet, but with my launching skills, I'll probably break something pretty quickly ...

lots of drivers are able to pull sub 14s times. the fastest I've seen is 13.6x.. many times in the 13.7x. with a little launch practice, you should be able to pull 14 flatish consistently.

As a moderator in an introductions forum, I'm simply going to state flat out that we don't recommend launching the car. Clutch, diff, tranny, etc. will not hold up for long. If you're prepared to fix things and spend some serious out-of-pocket $$, well, then it's your call.
