Hi I'm Paul. I had an S2000 in 2014. It was a 2002 Nurburgring blue. I loved it and really bonded with the cars character and charm. Too many miles as a daily meant a move to something more practical. However, I never drove a car since that matched its breadth of talent.



It’s taken 4 years to get back round to getting back in an S. But it’s been worth the wait. Not a lot on the market at my price point but I was keen to get something mechanically sorted with the idea to sort out any additional bits as time goes on. The main differences to my last one are the modifications. Lowered suspension, AEM V2 intake and Js Racing exhaust with decat. This car feels subjectively stronger than my previous one and is 3x louder on VTEC, the noise is simply incredible. Over the weekend she has had a wash and I have cleaned the air filter, fixed the bonnet catch, which was temperamental, and had a first go at buffing the haze out of one of the headlights. Took the Mrs out for a country drive and she has given her stamp of approval. Initial impressions are I love it

 

The ride is really pliant which I wasn’t expecting and the gearbox/engine still feel A1.



Vinyl number plate should be here this week. Plus I need to start thinking about getting a grill to fill the gaping hole at the front!! Is the grill easy to fit??
