Default S2000 color/$$ question

For me, I would buy the s2000 with my least favorite color if the seller offers 1-2k under what I can normally get for that same car with more appealing color. That money will go towards getting it repainted.

It also would lower the resale value, and would not be as good of a paint job if you got it repainted. Why not just hold out for the color you want?

I know MAACO runs alot of specials. MAACO is not considered a good paint shop?

A good paint job will probably cost somewhere in the range of 5k...from what I have read on this site. I am not sure MAACO is up to that kind of quality.

I don't have a lot of experience with full-car repaints. I would suggest posting the question over in the S2000 Talk forum.

Macco is defiantly NOT a quality place to get you car painted. It is a CHEAP place to get your car painted. I have experienced their work first hand... unfortunately.

DON'T buy the color you don't want only to repaint it. wait for the color you want. a full repaint to OEM-level's really hard and really expensive. this isn't a maaco job.

Buy a set of 3D glasses. The ones that have the red and blue lenses, it will make your car look nicer. But definitely not MAACO!!
