hey im new to this forum and i got on here because im about to get my first s2000 which will be an ap1 by the way and i was just wandering if a 2002 s2000 with 107xxx miles would be a bad choice. i know hondas can handle high mileage but i didnt know if the s2000 was different.

 

i got an ap1 with 300,000 miles, still on stock clutch and stock soft top, but vtec doesnt work, my engine uses more fuel than it used to and basically its just unreliable.

 

so should i not mess with it since it has 100000 plus miles?

 

you can mess with it, just go test drive and do burnouts and stuff and find another car to purchase.

 

what kind of mileage should i look for then?

 

i'd suggest look for one with 1-2 miles on it. then you're set.
