I am glad to see that there is a great forum for this car. I have driven Audi's and VW's for years (OK, take your shots now) and picked up an 01 S2000 last weekend.

Love the car.

Is there a recommended manual that I can pick up? VW/Audi owners relied on Bentleys.

I searched the forum and found that the general consensus was to go without a front license plate. Since I have no desire to talk to the "man", I am going with a front plate. Does the car come stock with a front license plate mount? My car simply has 4 holes with bolts in them. After searching the forums, I came across a couple of options, but none of them were all that appealing.

Finally, I am shocked at the drivetrain noise. Even though I test drove the car with the top up, I really did not notice it until the long drive home. Decelerating in 3rd or 4th gear seems sort of loud and the rear differential has this whine that sounds like you are sitting in an airplane at the gate when the engines are off. Am I in trouble here or are the drive trains sort of noisy?
