If they do not have amber, does that mean that they modified the stock headlights? Could they have bought them like that?
Your best bet is that he baked the headlights and removed the plastic amber part.

So they are not sold with black housing and clear corners?

Yes, he did a modification. Lots of folks do this (it's called "clearing the headlights"). They are not sold that way.

Damn, I was told that the car was bone stock other than some minor modifications. So the guy from the lease actually took it out. Is there any way to tell wether the car has been modified or not? I know in other cars you have to remove parts to install aftermarket and you put it back to stock, you really dont need to put some parts back on, such as intake piping before the filter in the bumper of minor screws.

Well, Aaron, this is a minor mod from most points of view... Difficult to install (you have to remove the bumper), but not a performance mod.

Something to think about.

Once this mod is done, you don't normally "go back" to sell the car. That requires re-doing the whole installation/removal.

I know what you mean Chazmo, but the car was a lease. It had to go back. I know noe thatthe car was modified, I am trying to see if I can find out to what extent. If you have an intake on, is there a place the gets scratched under the hood with the use of it?
The reason why I am asking this is beacuse the car only has 26,xxx miles and I am worried that it may have been abused the wrong way. It's already on its second clutch.

That's definitely possible, Aaron.

My recommendation is to have a compression and leak-down test done on the engine. That'll help you be sure. As for clutch/transmission, do you know anyone with S experience that you can ask? A drive should tell...

Nominal is 228 PSI, <-- that'd be a new engine
Minimum is 135 PSI,
Max variation is 28 PSI
