S2000 Ownership
Hi people I'M Matt and I am from a village on the outskirts of Basingstoke.
Ever since my first year of driving I have wanted an s2000 but just never had the means to do it...along with ridiculous insurance costs. Now at the age of 22, with a nice collection of no claims and After 4 years and 6 Months I have finally purchased my own s2000. She is a 2001 X Reg in silverstone (X641 GNM).
My previous car history is slightly boring and repetitive so its a nice change to have something with which I can keep the roof down and that makes a rather enjoyable noise in comparison.
I have had:
2006 Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 petrol 3 years ownership taken from 29,000 to 95,000 miles.
2006 Alfa Romeo 159 2.4 diesel 1 year ownership taken from 87,000 to 114,000 miles (2 head-gasket failures later it had to go. Off the road for 2 months)
Current ownership:
2012 Vauxhall corsa 1.2 petrol 10 month ownership and counting. 12,000 to 31,000 and counting ("commuting taxi" Bright yellow)
2001 Honda s2000 2.0 petrol 01 month ownership and counting. 75,000 to 76,500 and counting ("For Days off" and 1 day a week commuting if weather is good)
Luckily with my 4 on 4 off shift pattern the s2000 is used just as much, if not more than the corsa which is a bonus
Will have to start getting my name down for some events, they look great fun.
