Default s2000.. right choice?

Hi, I am a 21 year old male, who is currently in the army. My next unit is ft. Lewis, which is located in Washington state. I was wondering if s2000 will work as my daily driver. I will not drive too much, but whenever I do drive, I look forward to enjoy driving. Will s2000 accommodate an average 21 year old male's lifestyle? Btw, I do not plan on getting married anytime soon, thus the reason for a 2 seater. Anyone had this issue?

Why wouldn't it? My friend's wife had twins recently, it didn't stop him from buying one! Check out the PNW forum as well, there's a great group of guys there.

A daily driver yes. A daily parker.. I dunno. I just bought my S2k two weeks ago... and I'm concerned about taking it out on everyday errands, thinking it will be broken into. This soft top thing i dont know about.

That's what insurance is for. You can't live your life being worried about what might happen. What you'll miss out on is worth more than sitting on your couch all safe while your car is in the garage.

Not saying you should leave it the hood for three days or anything. But if you're that worried get one of those alarms that goes off if someone is too close to the car. Better yet get a hard top. Either of those might help.

As long as you don't go crazy with mods, S will be fine as a dd. As far as soft top worries, if the thief wants your car (or something in your car) there is nothing you can do. Try to save some $ for a hard top if you are worried about the top getting slashed.
I've only had my car for a month but I can't say enough great things about this car.

Everyone's lifestyle is different, so you have to buy what will work for you. I've had an s2000 since I was 18, its never gotten in the way of life.

It's perfect for a young guy. Fine for daily driving.

You can't worry about things you cannot control. If someone wants to break into the car they will. I suggest if they do, please break my side window rather then cut the roof. This HAS happened to my first S2000.

I'm 21 myself and daily drive my S. Suits my life style. To be honest, I'm in love with the car. EVERY SINGLE TIME I go out for a drive, whether to cruise, school, or work, I enjoy the drive plenty. GL!
