I'd say go for it, I'm 25 soon to be 26 single no kids and love the S as my DD.

and you being in the army gets u usaa insurance im 19 and ive got two tickets so far one for going 76 in a 45 and the other for going 55 in a 35 with no seat belt on, no drivers id, and wreckless driving "burnout" lol
my monthly payments are only $70 and thats full coverage. usaa is the greatest i got medical discharge from fort jackson so thats how i got mine

this almost sounds like a troll thread... the car is really fun to drive and will probably get you more looks and girls at 21 than any other car in the price range. Buy one

It can. That doesn't mean that it's suited for all 21 year old males though. I don't think age and gender are really the primary criteria. There are people of all genders and ages whose lifestyle is accommodated by the S. It's really whether or not the S fits you specifically that matters.

Test drive, test drive, test drive -- as always. You'll know if you have to get the S.

ooo really? I am planning on getting insurance through USAA. Where do you live and how is it compared to how much other companies charged you? And is that price for a s2000?

no other major insurance company in US will be able to offer a lower rate than USAA. im a 23yr old male and full coverage on my 2002 s2k, liability on my 1994 exploder, and renters insurance come out to 120 a month. you can call and make policy adjustments 24/7 and everyone ive ever talked to over the phone has almost been TOO helpful.
