Default S2000 vs 350Z(yes I know about the other topics)

I just now found out the 2007 Z has 306 stock HP and the S2000 still has 240. stock, will the S2000 be able to keep up with the new Z's improved engine?

eh....dont think so. With the BEST driver in an S2k and the worst in a Z.......maybe.

Z is just much easier to drive/launch....which i really dont believe our cars were designed to do well.

I'm looking between a 350z S2000 Evo or WRX, I like the S2000 look wise, but I kinda want something that can roll with the V8's.

....then S2000 isn't for you. Between your other choices, i'd go for the WRX STI. I was very impressed by the power....u literally get thrown back in ur seat when u hit 6k rpms.

it's just not very stylish =\

yeah that's why I want an S2000, and I've been looking at turbo kits and supercharger kits. But I still just want the best bang for my buck

best "bang" would be the STI. S2k probably has the least "bang" and is the most expensive out of what you listed.

however...it's probably the most fun car to drive. Are you going to track it or use as daily driver? S2k is very fun to drive on the streets as a DD...the others u can't really appreciate unless you're drag racing.

The new 2007 350Z's should be able to walk S2000's easily with their new high revving VQ35HR Engine.

I know it's a little more money, but the 2007 BMW Z4 3.0si packs a serious punch as well, and will firmly plant your butt in the seat when the gas pedal meets the floor. 0-60mph comes up in 5.4sec, and the standing 1/4m in about 14sec. Not bad at all for a 3.0L, 255hp inline 6. It's a very sweet ride.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the S2000, but My brother has a 2006 'stang GT that I need to keep up with.
