S2000 worth all the money?
Hey guys, I live in Canada and here, a s2000 costs $50,300 MSRP. Now, for the same price there are other cars that are v6, more hosepower/torque etc. Is s2000 really worth all 50K? I love this car but i think thats a little too much. Why are they so expensive?
your asking the wrong people though, its obvioiusly worth the money to us since we bought it. also its not all about horsepower and torque. if you care about horsepower and torque i suggest you get a 350z
Drive one and see if you like it. A lot of people, me included, fell in love during the first drive. I agree, the retail price from a brand new one is high, but a used one in good condition can be had for a good portion less. I paid $24.5K for an '03 with 13.5K on it and am quite satisfied.
um like anyone is going to say "no its not worth it but I bought it for the hell of it...." but in reality everyone on that is on this site is on it for a reason and thats because they have an s2k meaning they do think its worth it....

The s2k is a special type of car. To most people, the ingtegra type R with no sunroof and other "luxury" amenties was not worth it either. Your basically paying for its performance capabilities. For the s2000 your paying for a roadster that has perfect weight distribution and awesome handlying dynmics and is meant to be more of a purist car. To the average consumer the s2k is not worth it because its at the price of an entry level bimmer but without all the bells and whistles. To someone looking for a car like the s2k, its worth every penny.
Different strokes for different folks.

I, for one, think it a steal for the price
