S2000 worth all the money?
If you enjoy driving a raw, pure sports car, then this is the car for you. This is not a luxury car by any means. You won't find all the frills, comforts, and amenities that you will find in some of it's high priced competitors. That said, what you get is a lot of performance for the money.
Yes it's worth it, of course it is, I don't think I'd be here on this forum sharing my experience with it. Although a bit bias since I already bought it...
It's a lot of fun. It does its job as a fun car to drive. It always keeps me on my toes and I don't think I will ever tire of it.
I don't think it's that expensive. You could always look for used ones.

Hey guys, I live in Canada and here, a s2000 costs $50,300 MSRP. Now, for the same price there are other cars that are v6, more hosepower/torque etc. Is s2000 really worth all 50K? I love this car but i think thats a little too much. Why are they so expensive?
Looks like the downside of the strong Canadian dollar and the weakening US dollar. I live in Washington, and I really miss the days of running up there for a weekend where the entire country felt like a 40% off sale. Heck, $7USD t-shirts at the Gap during boxing week was nice too.
This is my first sportscar. I used to sneak my dad's sportscars out in high school (many years ago), so I did have a distant memory of high end Italian sports cars.
What is an S2000, and is it worth the money?
I view the S2000 as a great value for the money. (I like the 350Z specs, but have you seen the interior??? I want luxury (Jaguar) or spartan (Lotus Elise, S2000); keep your cheap ill fitting plastic (350Z)
It is a hard core sports car.
It makes no apologies for a lack of comfort or acoustocs. You hear the rain coming off the tires while you drive.
It has the reliability of a Honda.
It is designed in the same sense that an old Porche was, before they caved in and put "luxury" features into it.
Even the "cup holders" scream with a "we were forced to put these in by marketing"
It is a blast to drive.
If you enjoy the driving experience, this is definitally a car to look at.
If you drive and talk on your cell phone while sipping your latte, please move on.
If you live near the border, why don't you buy your car from USA and drive it over? You can find decent deals on leftover 05 350Zs in Oregon (no tax) as oppose to Washington.I don't think the S2000 suites you.
