Finally got my s2000 today, 01 drove 60miles to pick it up, its in very clean condition with only around 11.7k miles

Now, make sure you're up on the maintenance (see the Intro FAQ), and replace all the fluids in the car. Pay particular attention to oil consumption (which is normal); our early year S2000s have an appetite for the stuff. Finally, make sure the spark plug recall was done, and if you can't verify that, do it yourself and torque the plugs to (I think) 18 lb-ft.
