Default S2K from North TX

Hi All,
I’m new to the forum and finally bought my 2000 with a AP2 swap. Years of waiting and now she’s here. Can’t wait to explore this forum, meet great people, and learn a whole bunch.

Welcome to the forum. What does AP2 Swap mean? AP1 S2000 with a AP2 Engine Swap?

Why was the swap performed? Was the AP1 engine in need of replacement?

I have not found out the reason. That could very well be the case.

AP1 revs to 9,000 RPM whereas AP2 revs to 8,200 RPM. 5th and 6th gear rstios are different too. Did you have to change any of the engine management systems? Swapped transmissions too?

From what I was told, just the ap2 motor swap. Tranny, ecu, and all else is ap1. Ive been able to hit lift and shift at around 8000-8100 ish to be safe.
