S2K will be Honda #7
Welcome HondaRob.
You might be hard-pressed to find an '09, since only 355 of them were produced for the U.S. (including 53 in Chicane Silver). However, it's correct to say that the '08s are identical; there were no trim, color, or other detail changes from MY08 to MY09. (And yes, Chicane Silver replaced Silverstone for MY08.)

I saw one a few weeks ago I think, if I find it again for you, can we be friends?
haha kidding, but really, I could have sworn I saw one on Craigslist a few weeks ago (I tend to just glance over the ads when it's silver since I've owned two silver ones already). If I do spot it again I'll be sure to send you a PM.

I'm being SUPER picky...finding a 2009 is hard enough, let-alone a Silver one.
I wish Craigslist had a nation-wide search option for cars! Autotrader, Cars.com, and as a last resort Ebay Motors...are pretty much my resources. There was a time last year that you could actually find left-over 2009's at dealerships - but back then I didn't have the money (or the lust).

Model Year Changes
And it says that Silverstone replaced Chicane in 2009...(as in Chicane is ONLY a 2008 color)....can anyone confirm this? (Or confirm that it's not correct?)
Chicane Silver was the only silver available for MY09. It was offered with either red or black interior (edit: 53 had black, 20 had red, so total was actually 73). The link I posted above is correct.
As far as buyers remorse, I sorta did. The car is great and honestly I have very little complaints, but im more so into american muscle than tuners. The car handles like its on rails and the power band is pretty decent. I also have a built and blown mustang gt, and I just sold my 04 z06. Compared to the z06 it was far more nimble than the z06. The vette felt more power reliant and wasnt as tight as the s2k in tight turns. It is def a well rounded car, and turbo it and it will be very nice.

No remorse here after 5+ years so far. If I need speed I have a 996cc Italian rocket. The S is all about the experience, not the speed.
Welcome to the Forums!
I really don't think buyers remorse has ever been spoken of within these threads. Unless some aftermarket part wasn't up to par or the thrill of driving is based entirely on straight line performance.
Give one a test drive and see for yourself. I've had 4 years and a few months of a 2001 and a smile is almost always on my face after a drive.
No remorse here! Before our RDX my wife drove a 2008 Civic SI (FA5). It was a fun car but just seemed a little imature for her. The S2000 would be perfect at what you are looking for. I was kind of in the same situation last summer as I'm 37. My daily driver is a highly modified 2004 TSX. Not a fan of BMW's
