Default Semi new 02 Spa Yellow owner

Hey everyone....I purchased my 02 this past July and I absolutely love it...I had a GSR before and went through the whole modding wasting money thing..

This thing kicked ass right out of the box...I had to get used to rear wheel drive, even after 15 years of driving experience..First thing I did was learn to drive the car...Eventually took it to Summitt Point, WV for 60 minutes on the 2 mile track...I learned a hell of a lot, and learned mine and the cars limits...I lost it once, when the instructor said to turn in more...I saved it, thank god..Luckily I had experince on that track before with my GSR.

I told myself I would keep it stock, except for S03 Pole Positions tires for dry/wet, and winter tires and wheels...And, BOY do the tires make a difference...The S03's stick like glue..I just put a K/N intake on as well, and that sound when VTEC kicks is almost too addicting..

Now to my question...I've looked all over this site and the web and can't seem to find where to buy replacement exhuast tips...Mine somehow got discolored after 19K..Should I take them off and clean them or just buy new?...If buy new, where and how much..I know I could ust go to Honda, but they overcharge way too much, especially in Northen VA...Anyway, glad to join the club, and I love the waves all the S2K owners out there give...

Hope to meet some of you Mid-Atlantic guys/gals in the near future..

Welcome Creed!

Hmm. Exhaust tips... There are some metal cleaning products that might help you avoid replacement. I'm not going to move your post, but feel free to go to the wash and wax forum here: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showforum=15

As a matter of fact, someone posted a question like yours here: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=340921

Xviper recommends a product called NEVR-DULL...

Best wishes. Welcome aboard.
