I looked and test drove an 02 back/black s2k that have a reconstruction title. the guy is asking for 14.5k isn't really a bad deal, it has a full exhaust system, sound system, intake, clutch, and a few other mods. i can tell that the car had been rear ended before. the car has about 60k miles. and also he will give me all the stockparts that he saved up.


PS: i work at an body shop so i can fix most bodywork myself

 

Therer are plenty of S2000s with clean titles out there. I wouldn't buy it unless it was a ridiculously low price, like 8k$.

 

well the car has been fixed i know i can get a total one around +-8k

 

s2k's salvaged get a higher price than most. However, 14.5k vs about 18k tops that the car is worth clean? Unless the mods are worth a few grand to you, it's still not a good deal. I think the most you'll be able to sell it for the next day is about 12k, which is what I think is fair if it is fixed correctly.

 

i found a 01 s2k 11.6k miles for 19.6k carfax report says its clean 1 owner. i'm seeing if i can get finance or a loan from the dealership, about 50miles away from me.

Well later today, I'm going up north to check out the 01 with 11.6kmiles the dealer called and said the car is in great shape and that a doctor own it. for $19,670 i will try to ask for a lower price, what do you guys think?

 

Tuesday i'm going to pick up the 01, Berlin black, i talked down the price to around $18,885, online price $19,695, the sales guy said that their talk price was around 21+k i still think thats a great deal for being 1 owner with 11,680miles
