Should I go for the 03 or 04 S2k?

The AP1 doesn't oversteer. The handling is neutral. It's referred as having oversteer because everyone is used to all of the understeering cars on the market.

It oversteers when bad drivers get scared that they're going too fast mid-corner and lift the throttle near the adhesion limit. That's not the car's fault, but bad driving technique. It's wonderfully balanced when driven properly.

Also, handling balance is easily tuned via sway bars and spring rates.

Based on a strictly monatary value, the '04 is automatically elevated because of the one year newer status. The $3k difference between the two is now about $2k. Sorry , I have to paraphrase a little since I do not know the exact formula but this is probably close.
Now you have to find $2000 in factory mods, tires, mileage even color and of course condition to justify this $2k. If you can't ,get the '03. If you can , get the '04.
