I want an 03 so bad. The higher redline must be nice, and the better steering must be even better. Any advise, should I sell my 04 and go 03 or what?

Grass is always greener on the other side..sometimes. If you go to the '03, you might miss the lower end of the torque curve on the '04. Its all up to you.

would you be willing to give up the extra torque and hp for that higher redline?

i drove 04 couple times (my neighbour got a 04) and I must say the difference is very marginal.

if you think having 1000 more RPM means alot to you, then go for it

HP is the same I thought? And quarter mile times are faster in the 03 right? The 03 is faster on the track because of the 3,000 RPM of VTEC right?

I had an 00 for 2 years and then bougt an 04. I love the 04 for daily driving, its soooo much nicer. But for racing the car i would def say the 9k redline helped a lot. you can't really stay in vtec that long and rolling starts are not worth shit anymore. But i'm sure you could fix all that with a vtec controller that would lower it to say 5500.

I say stay with the 04 and get a VAFC and some springs.

car and driver rated the 04 at 14.0 while the 03 was at 14.3 for the quater.

i'm sure there would be a lot of people willing to trade their 03 for your 04
