Picked up a silver 2000 last week in Toronto and have been busy polishing headlights, washing car x 3 (it was filthy inside & out, but fit the budget) getting oil changed, changed to oem air filter ( dirty K&n had collapsed hose as it wasn`t installed correctly) ordered cabin filter today as dealer didn`t have one.
Ordered license plate plugs and spare oil filters, got more Plastx as I used first tube up.
Anyway, been busy reading all the info here and other sites and really appreciate the work others have done in the DIY sections. I have the dreaded CEL P0411 but am still glad I bought the car and am enjoying it.

Thanks for the welcome. The car was a private sale, I just found the owners manual in the secret compartment. The previous owner told me there wasn`t one, so he didn`t know about the compartment. Another benefit of reading the posts on this forum. Odered new Honda wiper refills, slowly getting caught up. Sold some more motorcycle accessories to pay for car parts. Bought a 2 ton low profile jack on sale in Michigan today, just fit in the trunk.. barely. It will go under all the way but I will likely need boards under the front wheels to properly operate the handle.

 

My Po411 MIL didn`t come on today, Is mmt still used in Canadian gas ? Filled up last 2 times in the U.S. . Called Honda Canada to plead for `Goodwill Consideration` even though I thought it was a waste of time, he took my info and that was it.
