Default Silverstone x 2, Z and S

I recently picked up a 01 Silverstone with Comptech SC. I have been lurking for a while and finally pulled the trigger. The Z was great car, I just wanted to try something different. I haven't driven the S enough to really compare, but you can definetely tell it's a lighter car. The Z is being parted out and eventually sold.

Next up for the S are wheels and the lowest seats/brackets I can find. I'm 6'4" and the Z is much better fit, but I am willing to make it work. I wish the S didn't have such high wheel offsets. I will be test fitting some FN01R-C and RPF1 that I ran on the Z but I know they are going to be too aggressive.

The pics suck, better ones to come once the S isn't so stock looking. I never really thought of the S as a stunning car but it really shines when parked next to other cars. It really makes the Z look bloated.

Nice pick up, I'm sure you'll love the top down driving where you are.

I've heard the S described as a scapel, pretty accurate. Offsets are going to be even more important since you are FI but there are some choices out there. Search around the wheel and tire forum, lots of good info there. Welcome.

You will love the S2000, but miss the easy power of your Z. I also predict you will have more respect for the finesse of handling after you really get to know your new car. You wil miss the low offset of wheels that you could run on the Z, but it will be worth it in the end. Enjoy, and welcome to the club officially.
*edit* Your S2000 is supercharged, so the power difference will not be that great afterall.

17 x 9 +35 on the S. I thought they would stick out lowrider style but it's actually not that bad. Some more negative camber/stretched tires and it would look pretty decent. The front is just a little too aggressive though. Tires are oversized for the S, 245/45/17. I couldn't get any pics to show the offset before my batteries died. I only got 1 pic and it sucks, but here it is anyway:

My RPF1 are 9.5 +15, not even going to try it.

It's being parted out. Exhaust, coilovers, camber arms, CF hatch, and 19" wheels are gone. Stoptech BBK is spoken for. All that's left is Nismo LSD and Hotchkis sways. I am probably going to use it for a daily driver for a while. It's a base model with 80k miles, so the resale value is not going to be good.
