So the S i'm looking at has all-seasons....
Should I tell the dealership to put S02's on it? Right now I've got their price to 17,990 for an 03 with 40k miles, honda certified w/ warranty etc. I don't really want a tire that will suck in the summer and winter, i was planning on buying snow tires anyway...

Welcome!
You can pick up a second set of OEM wheels on this board reasonably cheap and use them for snow/track tires.
If you buy the S2K you will not regret it; hands-down it's the most fun car I've ever had.

Seems like a good price IMO. Especially for convertible season. Just get the car, and order some S-02s or Kumho MX's from tirerack.
Although, if you can talk them into replacing the tires, do it. But I can't imagine they'll just buy you a new set of S-02s with the car already priced well...

All seasons have no business on an S2000 - I'd have the dealer put (quality) summer tires on knock 1k off the price so you can buy whatever you need for the car.
That is a ridiculously low price though, so I wouldn't hold out too much. You can get Kumho MXs for $500 or so.

Congrats, and welcome to the site. Get the car aligned when you receive it; it'll help the tires last a little while (the S02s are not exactly long wearers).
Word of caution... While we're still seeing temperatures below 40degF, please go easy on the car. These Bridgestone tires are bricks in low temperatures and have very reduced traction.
