Default Soon to be Owner Hopefully and Introduction

Hey guys I posted a couple weeks ago about wtt or wtb an S2000. Well the opportunity is here and I am flying south to purchase an S2000. I have agreed with the seller to get the vehicle inspected. Does anyone have any shops or dealerships that they have good experience with for s2000's in the Houston, TX area? I will also take this time to introduce myself and essentially copy and paste it from another forum I was on.

"So I am kinda new to cars still. Take a seat and listen with your eyes.

I have always liked things that went boom and vroom. My first vehicle I bought myself was a 2005 Ninja 250 (motorcycle). Maybe 2-3 years ago? I couldn't afford cars. I called it Baby Ninja

When I bought it, it didn't run. YAY INTRO INTO WORKING ON STUFF MYSELF. I knew what I was getting into. Limited budget, two hands, internet. Turned out it was a rocker arm that was broken, cleaned the carbs, adjusted the valves, yadda yadda.

I first reasoned to choose a 250 because I wanted to progress slowly. Not only did I want to be safe, but I wanted to purposefully choose a motorcycle with a carburetor to learn how technology has evolved as I progressed through the two wheel journey. I'm weird, I know it. Oh I wore gear all the time. Only broke the pants rule. I wore jeans.

Next vehicle a 2003 SV650S, or as I called it, Caboose. Two years ago I think which makes Baby Ninja 3 years. I've gone too far to scroll up haha

Oh yeah I forgot as I went through these bikes, doing basic maintenance and such I also went overboard with upgrades. Brake lines, pads, levers, rearsets, shocks, front springs etc. Only pics I have on hand atm for these two rides. I sold one for the other and so on. If I could keep them I would have, but sold one to get another and so forth.

Then my FIRST CAR I bought. It was a 2005 MazdaSpeed Miata MX-5 named Zubat. First manual transmission car. Super sweet handling. Crispy. I still miss it. Learned some fine driving skills with that car. First rear wheel drive car. First Spin out in Rain. First lowered car. First experience driving stick in ice/snow. 6 Speed. Car was predictable. Yadda Yadda I am gushing over that car I miss. It came with a factory turbo 1.8L and was like a Ginsu knife.

Until I got t-boned by some moron. It's okay because I'm Alive! Long story short I am going home furthest right lane. As soon as I go past a shopping area entrance ***WHAAAMMMM*** loud noise, slo-mo, glass flying across my point of view and almost a full 360. Guy coming opposite direction tried to beat traffic by making a left into oncoming to get into a shopping area and plowed into me. He got a citation woot woot.

Before:

Accident:

Meet WaSAABiii (This is the second car I have bought and owned, it is most likely going to be sold tomorrow)

This car is bonestock, err was, all I have done to it so far is Cobb Short Shifter and front and rear bushing while I was there. A/C wasn't working so evacuated the system and replaced the high and low pressure schrader valves. PFF estimate me $450 to fix this $2.00 problem. Umm, oh and I got a sweet shift knob cause A) I didn't like the original shape B) The height setting I have did not allow the Thread to Fully thread and C) I wanted to! Tint too although I liked how the car looked being see through (stock), I don't like Texas heat. Also have Subaru SPT Short ram air intake and a thermal zero turbo blanket"

And here I am to join a new Family Please lead me into the correct direction

Take a look at this and maybe even print it out and bring it with you!

I'm in the market for an AP2 and I've actually used it for three cars already, pretty handy!

I bookmarked that just awhile ago. Man this process of buying a car is so draining. I have spent my entire time after work researching the hell out of this car.
