From Subaru to Honda, Hi.
Hi all, I've been lurking for a while. I figure now is the time to introduce myself.
I've been into cars for quite a while, solely consisting of Subaru's until just recently. Bought my first one in '99, it was a black diamond pearl '99 Impreza 2.5RS with 12 miles on the clock. Long story short, added a turbo, blew headgaskets, took that opportunity to 'upgrade' everything I could get my hands on. Ended up with an awesome car that I was too afraid to drive for fear of something going wrong. Ended up selling it in '10.

Bought a '99 Impreza Outback Sport, next a '02 Impreza WRX (wrecked). Did a full drivetrain/interior swap from the WRX to the wagon. Very fun car, but too many issues cropped up in a short period of time to justify it as a daily driver anymore (wheel bearings, cracked heads, cracked transmission housing, spun bearing was the final straw). Sold it in '10.

My daily driver is a '05 Legacy GT. Purchased from Florida and drove it back to Kansas. Awesome car, very solid compared to the '99 Impreza rattle traps. Currently have coilovers, TSW 19's, accessport, front lip, tailight film, HIDs, kartboy short shift, cobb knob, hella supertones, CNT downpipe, ebay header/uppipe combo, and Infamous Stromung quad tip exhaust.

I picked up a 2005 S2000 this month with 68k miles. So far it's been great, really looking forward to doing some auto-x or track days come spring time. I need to learn how to drive a RWD car

So not new to cars, I did all of the work on all of my cars. Have already learned a ton from this site and look forward to learning more.

I used to want a 2.5 RS but then a very good friend who owns an auto repair shop informed me of there um let's say less than Honda reliability. So that's one thing you have to look forward to.
Nice AP2 please don't fark this one up, alot of dumb tuning options floating around out there.

Well they had some issues. But not all that bad, the 98s would blow head gaskets. And they all had fragile as glass transmissions (if driven hard). But for the most part they were pretty good. But they certainly don't take to power adders like some of the Hondas do, that's why I went with a WRX drivetrain swap for the outback sport. I built the 99RS before the WRX was available in the states, but after it was available got an STI shortblock instead of building the RS motor.
Love the point and mash behavior of AWD. So need to work out the RWD before doing any major power adders.

Nice, another Subie enthusiast. I just sold my M3 to pick up an S2000 a week ago. I still have my STI, it's kind of garaged for a while until I figure out what to do with it. It was my first car, so it'll be hard to sell it.
Here's my Subaru:

I don't have any good pictures of the S2000 yet. I just got the sticker goo from the previous owner off it and haven't had time to do a full detail.

Very cool! The RS was the first car that I wanted and bought, but after I sold the Outback Sport I was like, "This is easy!" and got more aggressive on selling the RS because I wanted a Legacy GT.
