Ketchup - you're on IWSTI aren't you? Or were on there a while back.

I guess the hubs can be a weak point. When I was looking for a subaru though - it had to be an '04.

I have decided though - if I do get an S2K - it has to be white w/ red interior.
IWSTI. Didnt mean to sound harsh about the hubs.

To the OP, I was in the same boat with you. I have an 08 STi and just bought a MY00 S2k. Others are completely right, these two cars couldnt be more polar opposite and different in every way: handling, steering feel, power delivery, shifting, driving position, traction, etc..... the list goes on!

I just drove my Subaru for the first time in a couple weeks, since it's clean and hiding in the garage, while ive been commuting with the Honda. WHOA! What a difference!!

That's cool it's completely different. I know you said you use the Honda to commute - but which is more fun to drive?

I daily drive the 05 Legacy GT that I tracked for three seasons and last summer I picked up an 04 S2000.

So far I have been quicker on track with my modded Legacy GT than with the S2000, but the driving experience is so much more rewarding with the S2000

welcome

You'll miss being able to change the clutch so easily. You can actually get to all the transmission bolts on Subaru's so you don't have to drop the subframe. lol But I still love the S2000 so much I bought a second one.

I definitely have a feeling I'll love the switch.. it's letting go of the Subaru that is going to be hard. I've had a lot of fun with it and will miss that rumble and AWD.

And while it may just be a car.. it's grown on me.
