Things you wish you knew
Greetings,
After months and months of searching the upper midwest, I finally found the perfect s2k.
Love at first sight: 2007 laguna s2k.
Some pics: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...2&l=d27b4f0d0c
Since this is my first s2k, my first sports car, my first RWD, I have a lot to learn, and I am thrilled.
I want to keep it in the best shape possible, I want to learn how to drive it with spirit, without ever abusing.
I want to be smooth.
So lets here it, post something, anything, that you know now, that you wish you knew when you acquired your first s2k.
I look forward to you meeting you all!

A few things not so much that I didn't know before, but just some general tips:
Change all your fluids, who knows what the previous owners put in it.
Do your research and make sure you're getting quality parts if you're going to mod it, this is a NICE car, don't cheap out on it.
Use Ragg Topp cleaner & protectant for the soft top.
Keep glass cleaner, paper towels, and detailer in the trunk. You never know when a bird is gonna poop on the car (or IN it if you leave the top down).
Maybe do a few autocrosses to get to know the car, especially since its your first RWD.
Be careful in the rain and make sure you don't run on bald tires!
hope some of that helps
btw, Laguna is one of the most beautiful, rarely seen colors (at least where I live). Please take care of her!!
