Default thinking of buying an s2000

hello guys, im john a newbie here.
im looking on buying a used s2000. went on a dealer earlier and saw this beautiful 2006 blue s2000. test drove it and and really like the way it handles and also the shifter feel.
the final price that we talked about was $20,000 out the door. it only has 25500 miles. it really looks clean inside and out. should i go proceed on this offer?

Anyway this car is gonna be used for daily driving and probably after 2 years it will be a project car.

A little bit of my background. i have another car. its a 2007 mazdaspeed6. this is currently my project car. its fully bolted, forged internals and gt3076r turbo.on the last dyno it made 364awhp/349awtq with a messed up maf calibration.

i just got the car back since the engine build and was having some issues getting the car work right till now. its always at the shop getting work at, thats why im trying to get a 2nd car which is a s2000.

Nada is pricing the retail around 21.9k. In my opinion if you like it, and they said 20k I would go for it unless you can get them down a bit more to like 19.5k or 19k.

If its the blue I think it is (Laguna Blue) it is one of the greatest colors out there for the S, in my personal opinion.

Good luck on that S or whatever one you may get.

I don't think so, I know the 04 and 05 has them then in 06+ the Laguna blue came out, then for the CR the Apex blue.

Lots of people use the S as a dd. Fuel economy is good, its reliable and its a heck of a lot of fun. On the downside, storage space is at a premium and the car will need a good set of shoes to handle wet (stock tires don't like the rain). Good luck.

If you live in the Sun-belt (CA, TX, GA, FL, etc.) then an S will work fine as a DD. If you live in places where it snows moderately, an S would be a terrible DD choice.
