Third time's the charm!
Afternoon Folks. This is my third go round on the S2k express. I live in Houston, TX and had absolutely no intention of buying another and was not actively looking. Exployed by a luxury dealership here in Houston, we took in on trade a beautiful 2005 Formula Red with 25k miles. As always, I told myself "cool, an S2k to drive for a few days until it sells". Walking up revealed a garage kept beauty that to my eyes is definitly lowered. Getting in revealed only 25k on the clock and a flawless interior. Curious to know more, I popped the hood and was greeted by a full AEM intake.
So far, so good. Neither of my previous rides were modified, dropped, etc. so I wasn't expecting much from a ride comfort standpoint. Suprisingly, it rode great on good pavement but more interestingly, I could hear a noticable grunt at lower RPM accelerating through the gears. Returning back, I put in on one of our lifts and while having stock mufflers, it looked to have an aftermarket header. Some of my techs believe it's a Bisi but I can't confirm. Either way, the car seemed to have a little more go on the top end and sounded great down low!
2 hours later I was taking off the plates to my beloved 2010 Accord Coupe V6, this first new car I've ever purchased. While sad to see it go, the S2k just felt like home. At 6'2" I almost feel like it was built with my preferred driving position in mind. Top down, cue the music and I fell back in love. I must admit, my initial stop at the gas station was not complete without some mild embarrassment as I could not recall the location of the fuel unlock. A few minutes later all was well, a dusk cruise back to the house.
If you think you are familiar with this S2k or are aware of previous owner I'd love to know more about the car, so far I have not been able to make contact. Delivery picture for now, more to come..
