Default Thrilled New Owner!

I just recently bought a 2003 S2K with 31,500 miles on it, and I had it delivered to me, here in Houston, on January 13th. It is bone stock, and I plan on keeping it (mostly) that way. Possible upgrades/changes include a sound system, wheels and tires. I've been coming to this site for information and tips for months now, and now that I've made the purchase, I figured I can share my information/experiences also.

Welcome!

I don't personally see any value or even styling improvements for aftermarket wheels but the AP2 17" wheels are very nice and will handle bigger tires easily. These are frequently available in good condition here buy the guys with different opinions on aftermarket wheels than me. I took aftermarket wheels off '06 and fitted OEM AP2 wheels.

I'd put a "sound system" on a far back burner 'cuz ya really can't hear the radio over the wind and exhaust anyway!

Very cool, congrats! Good tires (and maybe upgrade to 17-inch rims) is all you need for now. Drive the puppy. Takes awhile to get used to the response and how to correctly negotiate a turn. Esp if you are used to FWD cars.

Photos would be nice.
