Whats up guys...been around here awhile decided to post now. I currently own a 05 corvette. Under 2k miles, mint condition, blah blah. I have always loved the s2000 and I think its time to pull the trigger. I currently am in the police academy so I figure when I get out id like to have everything in place. Now, my question is, do I wait and trade in the corvette toward the purchase of a 08(not the cr), or do I sell it right now and try to pick up any leftover 07's. The reason why Im asking is the price of corvettes is dropping fast. The new year will have a new engine and that will drive down the price of 05-07s even further. Also, anyone familiar with both cars and can compare them. I know they are different beasts, I have driven both. I love both equally. Its just that I have been domestic for all of the 23 years of my life and would like to venture into something different. Especially since I got the money to blow right now ha.

If you have driven both you probably have a good idea what you are getting into. I personally think the S is easier to live with as a DD, but if your Vette only has 2k miles I am guessing it is not your primary vehicle.

I would like to know why you are wanting to get rid of the Vette. The S is a great car, but I am confused as to why you would want to climb out of a 2 seat sportscar and into another one with half the power.

If resale value is the only thing in the equation I would suggest leasing.

Also, why an 08? I don't even think any information has been released on it. I doubt there will be any major changes. I would just pick up a 04-07 if you want an AP2 and have extra money for some mods.

If the price of vette's are dropping fast and you really want a s2k then I'd pull the trigger now. What exactly is holding you back?
