The airbag defeat light is on the lower part of the dash above the radio, if I remember correctly. I've seen it a couple of times when my grandaughter was with me.

Welcome home!

Airbag is probably automatic, depending on the weight in the passenger seat... like in my Acura and Caddy

Good to hear you are back in the saddle.
But, now I feel kinda bummed because my '06 is last years news.
Enjoy (after the 600 miles)

because there is no visible air bag defeat switch on the 2006. i was wondering if there was a "switch" for the 2007 model. on the 2006 model there isn't even a disabled light. so what is the 2007 owner talking about?

that is all.
Yes there is- look over the right side of the radio when you turn the key- it will light only if the passenger seat is empty.

Incorrect. It light when someone is sitting on the seat, but doesn't weight "x" pounds. To get the light to come on, ask a passenger to get in, and then raise themselves slightly off the seat to where there is less pressure on the seat bottom. If they do it right, the light should appear within 5 - 10 seconds. If they resume sitting properly, it will take the same amount of time to go out.

Or just put your laptop bag on the seat

Radio: The 06 has the light just like the 07, there isn't a manual defect, it's automatic based on a weight sensor.
