The airbag defeat "switch" is a light...not a real switch per se.

65 lbs is the cut-off...anything under that and the light goes on, the airbag shuts off.

I read the manual

After that there are about 8 pages telling you not to put kids in the car.

Fake post!

Everyone knows there will be no '07 S2000s as they quit making them in '06.

Incorrect. It light when someone is sitting on the seat, but doesn't weight "x" pounds. To get the light to come on, ask a passenger to get in, and then raise themselves slightly off the seat to where there is less pressure on the seat bottom. If they do it right, the light should appear within 5 - 10 seconds. If they resume sitting properly, it will take the same amount of time to go out.
What is incorrect about it? In MY 2006 S2000- the Air Bag OFF light illuminates if nobody is sitting in the passenger seat when the key is turned on.

Welcome back!

I remember reading your post earlier ... nice to see that you are okay and back to the S2K scene

On a side note, I wonder if the gunmetal radio door matches well with the OEM titanium knob ...

But ya, I definitely like the 06 steering more!

Took delivery today of my 2007 Solverstone Red/Black interior.

My house burned down about a month ago (posted previously), taking my '05 with it.

We've been living on Lasagna for about a month and the first thing I noticed is the '07 is a tad smaller.

Other things on first impression:

-"glove box" is great.

-lost the passenger seatback pocket and can't get the optional ones any longer.

-steering wheel is nicer

-gunmetal radio cover is nice but doesn't match the gear stick any longer.

-seat leather is nicer

-wheels aren't as nice and seem to stick out past the tire more, but look easier to clean.

-passenger airbag defeat is nice

-throttle seems a bit less sharp

-my 1-2 cold tranny grind is gone completely

-roll bar speakers are as good as my old headrest speakers.

Overall, I'm really glad to be back in my S. I've missed it terribly. Now for the next 600 miles...
Throttle a tad less sharp? Man. I have to go test drive one now as I'm ready to trade my AP1 in for a 07 Silverstone with Black/Red Int. Is it really that bad? I know that's a very subjective question, but I'm just curious what your thoughts are on it.
