Default urgent opinions please

Hi everyone,

It's less than 24 hours until I am suppose to be picking up my 03 silverstone s2k and I get a call to say a mark in the bonnet - that I was told would polish out with a process called 'mopping' has failed and the garage has had no choice but to respray the entire bonnet.

Should I be worried?

One side of me is thinking- if I can't tell the difference, does it matter? And the other part of me thinks- even if it's 100%, paranoia will surely tell me its different every time I look at it.

I do really like the rest of the car but it's just another negative point.

I wouldn't think that'd be a deal breaker. I mean it's not like it has any structural damage. Maybe the seller can knock off some of the price to compensate.

Thanks for your thoughts. I'm almost sure he wont move on price as we agreed a 'lowest price with bonnet fixed'. I suppose the re-spray will be costing him much more than polishing.

As long as the quality of the respray is there, I wouldn't hesitate at all.

Ok, thanks. I'm taking someone with me for another opinion.
