vegas s2000
Hi
I've been following this forum for a few months, and had been thinking about buying an s2000 for a while now. Finally pulled the trigger on a 2002 S2000. It's currently 1,400 miles away in St. Louis, MO and I'm currently in Las Vegas, NV. I will fly there during Memorial Day weekend and drive it back.
That being said, I was reading about using painter's tape to cover up the front to protect from rocks etc. How much would be sufficient? 2 rolls of 2 inch by 60 yard? And, to tape back to front while overlaying the layers?
Thank you for the guidance and below is the picture of the car.

Well I made half of the payment today, will pay the remainder upon picking up the car along with title on May 27th. This will be my most expensive online purchase, yet! I'm excited and anxious about what surprises lie in store when I see the car for the first time in real life in a few weeks. Did I say I'm excited?
I heard St. Louis, MO gets tons of snow so I should watch out for rust (if any). Carfax on the S2k is clean. Are there any tell tale signs of rust on the S2000?
Any other advise on what I should be looking for when I pick up the keys?
