well, never drove a Z, but had a few rides in them. from looks, the S blows the Z outta the water. like you said, you definitley do not see as many s2k's as Z's. there are just waaay too many out there. dont get me wrong, i think the Z is an awesome car. i'm sure someone will post that has owned/driven both. i dont want to give you a bias answer, buuut.....i would go for the S!!!! good luck

also, i'm on my second s2k. i cant seem to fall in love with anything else thats in this price range.

The S is just damn sexy!! and while I like some modded Zs, it looks like a jelly bean. IMO: G35>Z, S>Z.

i've driven a z and own a s2000 so heres what i think. the car is just too big and heavy for a 2 seater. 350z stock is a pig in the corners and just understeers and understeers. the car is mode of a GT car; you don't feel like you're going fast, there's no sense of speed.

of course if you pick the s2000 there's the top down quality as well.

I havent driven a 350z but my boss has the g35, I drive it now and again.....I like the car alot, it has a spacious interior, navigation, 18 inch or maybe 17inch wheels, sweet stock exhaust tone.....but on the flip side I would prefer my s2k due to its better looks, convertible top.. and its a 4cyl, which i enjoy becuase it hangs with some v8's and definatly hangs with the g35.

Z's rear end looks like a big mama, and it needs a diet big time.
S is front mid engine 50/50. Don't waste your $$ on Nissan POS.

I own a Z and you can definately feel the excess weight. I do like the stiffness of the chassis, the interior room, and the nice torquey engine.

I've only driven the S once and immediately noticed how much smaller the interior is. I think I'll be switching to the S in a few months. I must see 10 Z cars a day here in FL.

my exgf has a 350z and I always drove whenever we went out and on long trips, so I logged several thousand miles in it

The Z is more comfortable, roomier, more powerful, faster in a straight line, easier to drive, has a better stereo, has more storage.

I actually considered buying my own, especially after the breakup, I liked driving her car a lot.

But I got the S and I don't regret it one bit.

If you have to ask then the choice would easily go to the Z. More comfort, more detached and better daily driver.
