I know that there are tons of question like this. But I'll probably buy a s2000 in a couple of months and I can't decide which year is the best. I like the 00-03 because it have 9K RPM, the engine/hood looks smaller. But I like the 04 & up because of the new headlight and taillights, interior, 2.2 liter upgrade, etc.. Which one do you guys like better and tell me in your opinon. Thanks

Seriously though...its all opinion...search, drive and figure out what is best for you

 

I like the 2.2L engine because it's more pleasant around town and it is my only car. Also, while it may not be faster, it certainly isn't slower.

 

1372 was probably the best year. But 1685 and 1810 were also pretty good.

 

1944 was my best year and my first.

I would defintely go for the 02. I test drove the newer s2k's and coming from my 01 it just feels like the 9k is SOOO much funner. And the 02's have the glass rearview windows. AND u get bettter speakers i think.
