Hi everyone! im new to this forum.. just purchased a membership today..but im not quite sure how it works..

i am a new s2k owner..MY07 yes im a noobieeee driver too..so yeah..the story behind it was it was an advanced graduation gift from mom.. but i am loooovin in so much..im really really happy..got a couple of questions too..but yeah..ill list them down later..
oh this one question..

is it bad if i always do 7-8K rpm? never really tried cause im scared i myt blow the motor..=)

since when did the redline for s2k start at 8K

Don't go over 6k for the first 600 miles, break-in period. After that, rev away! It's a Honda. Redline dropped with the increased displacement to 2.2 Liters.

Welcome! Hope you enjoy your stay, and very awesome that you already got a paid membership your first day! As you stay, you'll easily see that this s2000 community is the best community ever since you live in anaheim, be sure to come out to some of the local meets!

oh yeah im so excited about meets!!...uhh where can i find the schedules? do i jst go there? no need for signups? or anything?

just check out the socal forums every now and then. there's usually at least one meet a week. definetely come out to the torrance starbucks meets though. as for signups, usually not required unless it's a dinner meet or something that requires a participant cap.

u aint gonna blow the motor unless u over rev it, just brake it in for 600 miles.
