Thanks for the if everyone. I need to determine my size, so and wanted to find a local store to try out different helmets. I heard that the fit may differ somewhat based on the manufacture.

Also, where do we get numbers for the car?

Try hitting up cycle gear. They don't have sa helmets, but they do have some motorcycle helmets from bell and hjc. The sizes should be similar. Try a few on and then order one online when you figure out your size.

Bell and hjc are true to the hat size. I feel comfortable ordering based on that. http://www.saferacer.com/size-charts/

Or just go to a motorcycle place and try some for size.

You can just use blue tape for numbers.
