Day of.

 

Finally bit the bullet and ordered 4 new rotors and a set of carbotech ax6 rear pads (already have the fronts) so hopefully they will come in by Friday so I can throw them on and break them in before the autocross. Then again, if I don't get a retune I won't be attending. I am planning to put the smaller housing on tomorrow- I held off doing it today in hopes I would get confirmation. But based on the weather today, I won't be driving this weekend so I might as well do some work.

 

Something came up and I can't make it. I should be at the next one on 09/21/2013.

Haha. A Jamaican guy I work with is always saying that.

 

Guys, I will be registering on site on Sat morning.

1. Cash or check?
2. I will bring masking or painter's tape. They assigne a number during registration? If so, I will need to make the numbe on site. Does the tape leave residue behind?
3. recommendation on tire pressure PSI for the event?
4. anything else a first timer needs to bring?

I always bring cash but I'm sure they will take a check.
I used to use blue panthers tape. Zero residue.
You can pick an unused number when there.
For 17s try starting with 35 cold. 38 hot. You can adjust as needed.
Helmet. Maybe water and a snack.
I also bring an umbrella for the sun. Maybe some sunscreen.
