Dragon trip April.
Old school sizing, 215/45 and 245/40 Dunlop ZII's on closeout. I've been obsessing on reducing unsprung weight and improving turn-in response lately. The soft floppy flaccid sidewall on the 225/45 RS3 have been a buzz-kill for me since the day i had them installed. The original star specs had stiff sidewalls that really inspired a lot of confidence. Also, no turbo powah to spin up the big tires.
Brakes are either new oem pads or hawk HP+. I am fairly easy on brakes but would like to confidence that the over-built pads would give.
I hardwired a passport escort x8500 black to the rear view mirror. Makes our mountain roads more fun here. Also took the dead-pedal out, can finally stretch my stupid leg out! We are building a house here in Huntsville, the framing started going up today. Very exciting, but till all the moving expenses get taken care of the S will likely stay off the track (and stock rims).
You put enough miles on those bushings to give a review yet?
68 days and counting!

Not yet. Still putting some miles on the new tires before I start testing. I am getting a slight bit of vibration that is new. The car feels very planted. Feels more stable than before. This could also be due to going to full stuff on the Saner. I won't have a legitimate review until the autocross in February.
Recommendation: those who already booked at Fontana, call to confirm your reservation and ask for another confirmation email (especially if you did not get one initially). Reason: they recently upgraded their systems--last week--and I know of at least one case where a reservation booked in the old system did not get transferred to the new system.

Are you talking a SCCA event in FEB? The next NFCA event in St Augustine is MAR 21, 2015.
I saw this posted in the Tampa forum.

Any interest in checking out "The Road to Nowhere"? I'm thinking we could do it as a Friday drive from Fontana?
It begins here on Everett St. in Bryson City and goes until you reach the tunnel:
